One of the proofs of a fathers love for his child is that he will never offer his kid anything that would harm him/him. In the same way, God will never offer us such a gift, but Christ has promised that anything we ask the Father in his name will be granted? Indeed it will, provided we ask according to the will of the Father. In order to always ask in accordance with his will, we need the Holy Spirit. O Lord, send us your Spirit.
