Grace!

The beauty of Christianity is that her founder, Christ the Lord does not ask his followers to do what he himself has not done. He is not asking us to do that which he has not given us the grace to do. He asks that we love our enemies and pray for our persecutors, its because he has done it and has given us the grace to do same. May the graces we received at Pentecost not be in vain, rather may they aid us to be perfect just as our heavenly Father. Cf Mt 5:43-48 See Other Reflections »
